Published in 1934 this is a collection of essays and poems mainly concerning fishing for trout. Much of the content had already appeared in other publications. Chapters include "Tales from Tweedside' and 'Luckless Days And Nights'. Ornately written there is a charm about the observations. With a fair dust jacket the book is externally sound with bright gilt titles. Internally there are eight illustrations and the book is in very good condition. A great gift for the fireside reader. The frontipiece has been signed by the author.
