HILLSIDE AND BORDER SKETCHES VOLS I & II by W H Maxwell

Two volumes of this book which are subtitled 'Legends of the Cheviots and the Lammermuir'. Not pure fishing books by any stretch but there is passing mention of salmon fishing in the Tweed and an illustration in volume 1. Both volumes are spotted and foxed internally but have been recased in the original boards so the binding and spines are good. Externally browning around the edges of the ornate green boards, but the gilt titles to the spines are bright. The corners are bumped and frayed.
