Lochs And Loch Fishing by Hamish Stuart

LOCHS AND LOCH FISHING by Hamish Stuart
A thorough look at loch fishing, its problems and solutions. Stuart covers a multitude of issues ranging from the scientific to the philosophical. Chapters include why loch trout vary in size and quality, the virtues and vices of gilliedom and loch fishing in a calm. This copy is well-used and annotated in pencil in places. The gilt titles are bright on the blue cloth cover but fading to the spine, which is scuffed and worn. The corners are bumped. It is, however, a readable and relevant book by a fisherman who understood the world around him. Full of illustrations with tissue guards intact it is a lovely read.
