THE COMPLETE ANGLER by Isaac Walton and Charles Cotton

Subtitled 'Contemplative Man's Recreation: Being A Discourse On Rivers, Fish-ponds, Fish And Fishing.' The book is in two parts, the second written by Charles Cotton. With notes by Sir John Hawkins, this seventh edition was printed by Samuel Bagster in 1808. There is some spotting to front and back. The rear endpapers are stained and marked but none of this detracts from the text. Rebound in red leather with raised bands and gilt titles to the spine. Internally the boards are finished in red and gilt marbling. A beautiful copy of this famous book.
