THE NATURAL TROUT FLY AND ITS IMITATION by Leonard West

A detailed entomological guide to the diet of the trout and how best to mimic these flies with artificial ones. This is a fabulous book for both the fisherman and fly-tier. It is a 1st edition but this copy has suffered over the years; it has light spotting to the ffep, pages appear rippled from damp/water damage?, and there is some yellowing of page edges; the  spine is weak but appears to be holding and all colour plates are present with tissue guards. Externally the green cloth cover is warped although the gilt titles are clear. The boards are rubbed, and stained.
